Finally a new post!

It's been a while since I last posted. It's been crazy the past few months but we're all looking forward to the holidays and getting together with all of our friends and family. God has been so gracious to us and has blessed us so much. In March we're having another baby girl and we're so excited. Reese and Olivia are especially excited. The girls keep giving me names to name the new baby. Reese wwants to name her "Ballerina" and Olivia wants to namem her "Isabella". I guess we'll have to wait and see because at this time I have no idea what to name her yet. I'm waiting for the perfect name to come along and pop in my head. Well, here are some cute pictures of the girls.

This was our first camping trip that we went on in September to Somerset Resevoir in Vermont. The days were pretty warm but the first night got in to the 20's so it was so freezing!!! I will not camping anytime soon unless I can have a portable heater in my tent. Rob and the girls loved it though.

Priscilla Ann Watkins April 3, 1960 - July 3, 2008

Rob's Mom died on July 3, 2008. She was 48 years old and was waiting for a liver transplant but wasn't able to get one in time. We're going to miss her more than words can say. She was a great wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter and friend. There's a gaping whole in our hearts but Jesus is slowly filling it with his peace and comfort because we know without a shadow of a doubt that she made heaven her home. We have that hope of seeing her again soon. The most important thing she taught us is that the things in this life are just temporary and not to sweat the small stuff. Why get worried over the petty things in this life. Even the problems that seem so big to us that we feel we'll never get through, isn't God greater? With one touch He can speak worlds into existence. Isn't God greater than anything we may face in this life? Our ultimate Goal is not to obtian things on this earth but our ultimate goal is to make heaven our home and to bring as many people with us into those pearly gates. Sometimes we ask why these things happen in life but tomorrow is not promised to any of us. God is not obligated to this flesh (although he still wants to heal us and see us happy). God's only obligation is to the saving of our souls, if we want it.

Hallelujah!

Day at Gay City State Park "Memorial Day"

I'm not much of a "pond" person but we had so much fun just swimming and relaxing on the beach. It was our first swim of the season and Olivia and Reese were so excited to finally be able to go in the water. Reese took a few accidental dives under water but Daddy was right next to her to pick her up. Surprisingly, she recovered quite quickly. Fortunately for the sake of all people, there will be NO pictures of me posted in a bathing suit. Maybe someday when I'm a size 6.

I was surprised that Reese was so comfortable sitting on the sand pail for so long. I guess she was too engrossed with playing in the sand to care if her butt was hurting or not.

Preschool Graduation 2008

Olivia getting ready for her gradutaion. She's gotten so big since last September when she started preschool.

Here is Olivia and her best friend Gwen on their preschool gradutaion day. I can't believe how fast this year went by. It scares me to think how fast the rest of her school years are going to go by. I'm trying to cherish everyday that I have with my kids while their young. It's already flying by!!!

FINALLY A POST!!!!

I know it's been a VERY long time since I've posted on here. It's been a crazy few months and I haven't had time to figure out the glitches in my computer that have been driving me crazy but I finally was able to spend some on here and sort it out. Anyway, the past few months have been good, bad and exciting. Through it all, the Lord has been there with us every step of the way. I've learned there's never a need to worry when we have our heavenly father sorting out our problems for us. Sometimes we want things to happen when we think they should happen but God does it in His time and His timing is always perfect.

This picture is for my friend Sarah Kline who said I should put more pictures of my self on here. So this picture isn't too bad of me. It's Olivia and me at the "Mother's Day Tea" that they had at her preschool which was so much fun. May 29th, Olivia's going to graduate from preschool. I'm going to miss her being so small. I wish I could keep her and Reese these ages forever!

Cute Pictures

Here are some random pictures that I thought were cute.

Olivia's New Hat

Here's Olivia's new crazy hat. The shocker... I knitted it myself!!! I just started learning how to knit a few months ago. I never thought I'd get into knitting but it's a lot of fun. My Aunt Jan is teaching me and I seem to be catching on ok. She's a great teacher. I hope I can get to learn a whole bunch of fun crazy things to make. Awww...isn't she cute?

Christmas Music by Olivia and Reese

Our family had such a wonderful Christmas this year. Christmas Eve we visited Robs parents and then went to our churches Christmas Eve Service which was wonderful. The girls had so much fun opening their presents on Christmas morning. This year Reese really went town with the present opening, following Olivia's lead of course. Then in the evening the Wesson side of the family came over, including my Aunt Laurie and UncleTerry and cousins. We had a house full but it was so nice being with everyone. We were so happy because Roger and Maria were able to make it from New Hampshire. God has just blessed us with such terrific family and friends on both sides of the family. I continue to count my blessings and I thank our heavenly father for putting us were we are today. Anyway, Olivia and Reese love to sing so I thought I'd put a couple songs on here from Christmas time.

Thanksgiving 2007

This is Olivia, Reese, and Elijah at Great-Grandma Harris's house for Thanksgiving. There was quite a crowd there once again this year. It's so nice to have a big family. All the kids had so much fun playing together. I love this picture so much! I actually got all three kids to smile at the same time. It is a feat in itself to get Reese to smile for any pictures let alone three kids at once. Yeah!

Some more pictures of the girls,

Day at the Cider Mill

We had a fun family day at the Cider Mill in Glastonbury, CT. The girls loved feeding all the animals, especially the goats who kept trying to lick them. Reese had a hard time leaving the animals but when we got to the pumpkins she wanted to try to take them all home. Olivia tried to find the biggest pumpkin she could find. So we got a big one and a few smaller ones that the girls could carry. We finished off our visit with an apple cider homemade donut which was very YUMMY!

Reese & Olivia at One Year

Here's Reese at one year. Yes, I know there's a bubble in between her eyes, but until I learn how to use Adobe Photoshop, it's there to stay. I thought these pictures were just too cute. Don't Olivia and Reese look like true sisters?

These are my two favorite pictures of Olivia at one year old. I can't believe how much she's grown and changed over the past 4 years. She's a cutie!

St. Martins, New Brunswick

This is Brightwater Cottage. We stayed at this quaint cozy cottage for a week and absolutely loved it. It was so peaceful and quiet in St. Martins, NB but there were so many things for us to do and keep busy. The view was pretty awesome too. We stayed on a miniature horse farm and woke up every morning to horses out grazing right outside of our cottage. Olivia got to ride horses everyday so she was in her glory and Reese couldn't get enough of them either. Every time Reese saw a horse she would say "Sorsie, Sorsie (horsie)" about twenty times in one sentence. From exploring beaches and sea caves to riding horses and walking the Fundy Trail (that was a work out!) to seeing the Hopewell Rocks and the fantastic scenery, we didn't want to leave. I feel like I'm giving a commercial but I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to relax and have a good time. Here's their website http://www.fundyfarmcottages.com/ check it out!!!
